Title - Metro Museum`s Addition as a stoppage of HOHO Service Gets Good Response

The introduction of Patel Chowk’s Metro Museum as one of the stoppages of Delhi Tourism’s HoHo bus service received tremendous response from the tourists with 29 people visiting the museum by the inaugural run of the bus at 9.15 AM today.The visitors included tourists from all over the country along with some Non Residents Indians and foreign tourists from the United Kingdom and the UAE. They were shown the exhibits of the museum and briefed about them by the Museum Curator.A treasure trove of display panels, historical photographs and exhibits about the Metro, the museum traces the genesis of the Delhi Metro. There are a total of 26 informative panels in the museum along with working models of the Operational Control Centre (OCC), CCTV, a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) and a Metro train. Various other exhibits are also on display such as a miniature of the Delhi Metro mascot, station models, a detailed route map and Mannequins showing the metro uniforms etc.
